Return Policy

  • Return Window: Returns are accepted for 30 days from the date you receive your item.

  • Item Condition: To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, unassembled, and in its original, new condition. You must include all original parts, manuals, and packaging materials.

  • How to Start: You must first email info@storagedayshop.com to get a return authorization. We cannot accept any item(s) sent back without our prior approval.

  • Shipping Responsibility: We will coordinate the pickup from your original delivery address. You are responsible for the round-trip shipping costs.

  • Inspection: Warehouse staff will check all returned item(s). We will issue no credit if the item(s) show any signs of use, assembly, or damage (including damage from poor repackaging), etc.

  • Unauthorized Returns: If an item(s) is returned without approval or fails inspection, it may be sent back to you at your expense.

  • Restocking Fee: Please note that all accepted returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your final refund amount.

Refund Policy

  • Refund Timeline: Your refund process begins only after your returned item is fully inspected and formally approved by the warehouse.

  • Processing: The refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 days of the return being approved.

  • Exchanges: If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the same return process (including authorization) and note in your email that you would like an exchange. Once your return is received and approved, we will assist you in placing a new order for the desired product.

  • Delayed or Missing Refunds: If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, please contact us at info@storagedayshop.com so we can assist you.

  • Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your total refund amount for all accepted returns.

Refused Deliveries / Buyer’s Remorse 

  • Policy: Returns or cancellations due to non-carrier reasons (buyer's remorse, non-responsiveness to the delivery company, failure to schedule an appointment, or change of mind) will be treated as a refused delivery.

  • Refund Impact: Refunds for refused deliveries will be the original purchase price minus a 20% restocking fee and round-trip shipping costs.

Delivery Obstacles and Address Liability

  • Curbside Access: We are not liable for restrictions caused by geographical limitations, inaccessible roads (dirt, low wires, low clearances), local covenants, or weight restrictions that prevent successful delivery to your curb.

  • Undeliverable Items: We are not responsible for shipping costs resulting from undeliverable item(s) for any reason. These shipping costs will be deducted from your refund, along with a restocking fee.

  • Special Fees: We are not liable for special delivery fees required to access remote areas or locations needing specialized equipment or handling. These fees are the customer's responsibility.

  • Address Changes: If an address change is requested after the item has shipped, the customer is required to pay all redirection fees.

Important Policy Information

1. Post-Delivery Inspection (48 Hours)

Please carefully inspect your entire order for any damage or missing parts within 48 hours of delivery.

The 48 hour inspection window specifically requires verification of:

  • Damage to the product pieces inside the box.

  • Any missing parts or components.

If you report damage or missing item(s) within these 48 hours, complimentary replacement parts will be provided after we complete our quick damage assessment.

If damage or missing part(s) are reported after the 48 hour limit, the merchandise will not qualify for complimentary replacement, but replacement parts can still be purchased.

For any post-delivery damage or missing part(s), please contact info@storagedayshop.com immediately.

2. Signing for Approved Delivery

When you meet your delivery driver, you are required to sign the delivery receipt.

Immediate Action: Before signing, you are required to visually inspect the exterior of the package for damage. If damage to the exterior is observed, please write "Damaged" on the receipt before signing.

3. Refusing Damaged Delivery

If the exterior packaging appears to be severely damaged upon arrival, you have the option to refuse the delivery.

If you choose to refuse the delivery, or if you sign for a package and note "Damaged" on the receipt, please contact info@storagedayshop.com immediately so your return shipment can be anticipated for next steps.
